Day 3 of Build Week

Today was wet, not as wet as yesterday but it still basically rained, to some degree or another, all day.

This made things a little more difficult than they needed to be but an amazing amount of work still got done over the day. The Fair is starting to take shape on site with the Kids Park, Village Green, Wigwam stage, Hatters, Scarecrow Corner and more areas starting to be built.

Through a lot of hard work much of the fencing has been done, although there is more to be done tomorrow. The areas will also be working hard for the next two days to get ready for Saturday.

There is lots of work to be done over the next couple of days. There is plenty of building and moving, plenty of decoration to be done, plenty of traffic marshalling, lots of traders to escort onto site, signage to put up, the gate to build, in fact there is lots of everything you could think of to make the Fair ready to open on Saturday.

If you have any free time tomorrow and Friday please come to Midsummer Common and ask for Mark McGivern, our Volunteer Coordinator, who will be able to tell you all about how you can help.
