Friday 3rd June Last Day of Build Week
The weather was than yesterday and again there was a lot to do, and yet again it got done!
From longstanding committee members, to our experienced and professional site crew, to volunteers working their first festival and volunteers that come back every year, everyone just got on with whatever needed to be done. Thankyou one and all for all the hard work in often less than perfect circumstances – you are all amazing!!!
Tomorrow is Show Day, Strawberry Fair Day, the day that we have all been working to make happen and it is going to be fantastic.
Rather than go through each stage it’s easier to point you to the event pages that are already on Facebook so you can see for yourselves the day we have planned for you. With so much going on you may also want to pick up one of our souvenir Programmes on site, which are available for a donation of £1 or more if you feel like it.

If you have any energy left after the Fair we will be clearing everything off Midsummer Common from Sunday morning to at least Tuesday and if you would like to help please come to the common and ask for our Volunteer Coordinator Mark McGivern who will be more than happy to introduce you to the crew and find you things to do.
