Important Message
The Strawberry Shorts Film Festival is the film festival of the Arts Area of Strawberry Fair. It has run as part of Strawberry Fair since 2001, but this year Strawberry Fair has been stopped.
However we still anticipate running The Strawberry Shorts Film Festival later this year. We will post the details here, as we get them.
In the meantime we will be running the Strawberry Shorts Film Marquee @ Fordham Fest on the 6th, 7th and 8th of August. We will be screening 175 of the very best and the latest short films from all over the world, with filmmaker Q&A's.

The Strawberry Shorts Film Festival 2010
The Strawberry Shorts Film Festival is the new incarnation of Strawberry Fairs own short film festival, which has run since 2001.
With the 2010 festival we are coming back with a renewed emphasis on supporting local filmmakers and screening the very best new short films from all over the UK, Europe and the World. In keeping with the seismic changes in Strawberry Fair( NOTE: Strawberry Fair has now been been stopped), the film festival has a new organisation of individuals with a passion for short films, dedicated to making The Strawberry Shorts Film Festival one of the best free Cambridge events of the Summer.
Check out our old festival trailer on the right. This trailer was made before this years Strawberry Fair was stopped, so some of the dates it gives are a bit out of date now!
At Strawberry Shorts we like to foster a performance element in the proceedings and to this end have been aided over the years by a fantastic crew of performance artists who have taken on the rolls of usherettes, popcorn sellers and the moral majority. Seeing is believing.
The Strawberry Shorts Film Film Festival runs for two days each year, screening programmes bloated with the very latest superb short films. Check out the full details of the programmes we screened in the 2009 film festival and the 2008 film festival.
To keep up to date with The Strawberry Shorts Film Festival and the film screening events we run, join our Facebook Group.
Strawberry Fair is Europe's largest free festivals of music and arts and has been held annually on Midsummer Common in Cambridge UK, on the first Saturday in June for the last 37 years. The fair is run by a voluntary committee of local people and accepts no commercial sponsorship.
